The odd couple of House Majority Leader Tom DeLay and Sen. Hillary Clinton at an event last month to promote
children won't be repeated, U.S. News reveals. How come? Because the Republicans finally figured out that Hillary
was using them in her scheme to appear more moderate than she is, all in preparation for her presidential run.

"All we're doing is helping to soften her lefty image," a top leadership aide told the magazine. "She needs us to
get moderates if she runs [for president] in 2008."
