Liberal-conservative wont matter in 2004 as much. Most people are in the middle anyway. Also there are conservative splits. Pat Buchanon does not support Bush, for instance, and he makes a strong case as to why. Traditional conservatives will take a big-time second look at Bush. And it will be the ECONOMY that sways most voters.

After four years of recessions that's just common sense, because the economy affects every aspect of our lives, including our very ability to wage war or protect ourselves from terrorism. Bush's only hope will be if there's another 9-11 type attack right before the election.
