We will only find out many years later why we are really there. What we have seen is War Marketing and Sales.

We have been given a lot of reasons, each one to suit the fear and guilt of the US citizens. You fear WMD - fine, we will mention that as a reason. Remember 911-Saddam could be behind that. Remember anthrax incidents - think what Saddam could do with his supply. You have qualms about replacing regimes - it is all for democracy for Iraqis. You think war involves killing and killing can be bad - we have smart and powerful weapons that will spare everyone but the bad guys. And anyway, the war is going to be a cakewalk.
