Back to 50% plus hostility.

No.. just a realization that no matter what facts I provide to you, it will not be sufficient. A realization that you will just have to discover and analyze some things on your own, until you can no longer avoid accepting the obvious.

And yes.. the failure to impose regime change in Iraq in 1991, has led, or greatly contributed, to 9/11, as well as the current war we're engaged in. Just as the harsh terms of the Treaty of Versailles and the collective punishment of the German people by way of reparations led to the rise of Adolf Hitler... We changed the government in Imperial Germany, but then undermined it's legitimacy by demanding money, and invading when it failed to pay(mainly the French). That laid the groundwork for Hitler's rise.

Bin Laden attacked the WTC and Pentagon because he resented the presence of US forces in Saudi Arabia. US forces were present in SA because we were containing Saddam and attempting to make him comply with the cease fire obligations (armistice) from Desert Storm. We imposed harsh UN sanctions, hoping his regime would fall. But it only resulted in mass collective punishment of the Iraqi people...

There are tremendous similarities...
