Thanks for your run-down on RIMM vs WDC.......

Before seeing your post. replied to another re my views importance of short interest (SI). My experience with SI not very good, so normally don't pay much attention to these numbers. Agree that "days to cover" is what should count here, and little difference here between RIMM and WDC. (BTW .. Puzzled your statement you haven't seen any ratio higher than 9 other than AMZN...Just gave a quick look at Mar figures, and see top 16 ratios on NAZ - which did not include AMZN - ranged from 49 down to 10 times).

As to your other points:

1. Wouldn't presume to question your EW count on WDC (as you know, strictly amateur here)

2. Re relative strength, I see WDC in an uptrend past 1 1/2 years, possibly forming a big multi-year H&S bottom, now breaking out of a bullish triangle, holding well above 200 day SMA, with shorter SMAs up-trending. RIMM in an uptrend only since October, with lots more overhead R - including DT line from Nov and Jan highs.

Basically, I see WDC with a good chance of running from 9 to a double.........maybe....vbg.. I'll move into RIMM after I cash in my WDC (in at 6.5)

Enjoyed this exchange very much .. hope it wasn't a nuisance for you................Raining out there? Snow here AGAIN...and fairly heavy at that........

Shack, still have your RIMM?

Looks like it might break through 16 this try. Maybe 20 soon thereafter?
