Different from UTAH - the Kurds have been there since Alexander the Great.

What would Iraqi do? They are kind of busy right now.

Bush stated and I believe him and agree, there should be a Palestinian State that is viable. That means that cities like Nablus and Jericho would no longer be disconnected
islands. Meaning Israel would have to give land back.

Here is the main point that Palestinians and the peace-activists fail to grasp. If the US is unsuccessful in Iraq
and cannot stop the extremists in the region, there
will be no reason for Israel to come to the table. The US
would not ask Israel to give up their security issues.
If we are no longer a broker for talks, then there
would be no longer a need for the camp David accords, so US money would be cutting off money going to Egypt and the Palestinian authority. (Powell increased Palestinian money last year.)
I also argue that Israel will pre-emptively strike if the
US gets out of the picture.
