Delbert Tellecomuting is the obvious answer. That the so-called lovers of nature are not screaming and demanding this shows that their goal is power not saving the environment. Their draconian mandates such as car-pool lanes are a failure. Tellecomuting could reduce the energy demand in this country by 40 % without raising any costs. Not only that it would give the hard working people in this country something they lack and that is time.
By the way the founder of Greenpeace shares this view that the environmentalists goal is power. He left in disgust.

As far as the ski ramps. I was trying to draw your attention to the frivolous waste of money that only a wealthy nation that uses energy can afford. The handicapped skier who demands access so that he can ski is vile and disgusting. People are starving in the world and he demands access to a frivolous sport.
