7 years of peace and prosperity, only man to ever do it. Say what you want about Clinton, but he was extremely successful on almost every level. But for all his great qualities he did indeed have at least one personal flaw. And the GOP spent decades trying to expose it. They finally succeeded with 80 million in tax-payer money under the guise of a non-existent scandal called Whitewater, using a GOP operative lawyer Ken Starr to dig through the dirty laundry until he found a semen stain. And the GOP gripes about people criticizing Bush. Look what the Great Old Party did to the institution of the presidency. Talk about un-precedented. At least Nixon was actually guilty of a crime.
