I heard an interview on the Gil Gross show tonight with an ex-CIA agent. He said he was approached in 1995 by some
Arab leaders saying they could have Saddam killed.
Clinton's containment policy would not allow that.

I wasn't aware that US policy was binding on another country. If the Arab leaders wanted Saddam dead and had the ability, they would have done it.

A $70 billion mistake

$70B! That'll be the first month's payment for this war.

Do you really think that US would have destroyed their favourite reason to invade Iraq.

And the lives lost.

They don't care about those lives, US or Iraqi's one. And you will never see those dead body anyway. the first five day with TV enabled in Baghdad was for the show of selective targeting. Now they target TV and phone system. they will succeed to remove any journalist soon. After that begin the carpet bombing. Nothing will be left living in that city when they will enter. You'll see (or will you?).
