Compelled? If it happens in the future? Get real. I "do something about it" every day. I choose to live here, and I don't toss trash out of my car window or leave beer cans on the trail. I don't consider myself "lucky" at all. Luck has nothing to do with it. I do consider myself fortunate to live in the United States. I also recognize that several of my relatives died painful early deaths to guarantee that I could continue to live here. So let's not get going on some diatribe designed to point a finger at me for pointing out the flaws in some nutball left winger's rant, OK? I am in favor of keeping the environment as clean as possible. Anyone who lived in Los Angeles thirty years ago and lives there now can see concrete proof of the value of cleaning up the environment. I am not in favor of the ignorant emotionally self-centered leftist nonsense that I was responding to in that message I posted. OK with you?
