Most of the readers already know or think they know my beliefs, so it is not surprising that my attempts at objectivity are not objective or are not perceived as objective. 2. I am not interested in a political discussion. I am interested in making the correct investment decision. 3. In an attempt to objectively assess the state of the war, each of us is encumbered by political prejudices and that will color each of our views. 4. Obviously, it would not be easy to eliminate politics, but when politics is so closely tied to investment decsion making, it might be worth a try. 5. I posted the URL of the "NewsHour" discussion in an attempt to add objectivity to any discussion. 6. The welfare of my country and of my stock holdings cry out that my political beiefs must be wrong. I have never been more open to arguments that they are wrong. 7. You are welcome to my consideration. I will not push the subject or add any more posts on the subject.
