Dear Lizzie: you think 8% is good, well remember when Ford was downgraded and people went berserk? Well, I bought the Ford Preferred at a yield rate of 19%. Since then its gone back up some so I am collecting 19% on my invested money PLUS capital gains. While I intend to hold my equities portfolio, looking to the future I intend to spend more time analyzing old line companies with preferreds out there. Course if SUNW goes back to even $30 let alone $60 I probably would get all excited about technology again. haha. jdn
