At 1.4 million dollars each, you'd think Tomahawks would be a little more accurate... by the way we have fired nearly 700 of them so far in the last week. Do the math.

I remember reading some time ago that they had a CEP of ~1 meter. But CEP only means that there is a high probability of being within that target area. I don't remember enough details on the stochastics for cruise to say what the expected rate is outside of that CEP, but I wouldn't be surprised with 700 missiles fired that ~12 would be expected to miss their target.

Early this morning I read that both Saudi Arabia and Turkey have prohibited cruise missile routes over their territority. Those posisitions should flip a few times before it's settled.

If that sticks, that leaves Kuwait and the Med as the only allowable routes for cruise. In and of itself that's not signficant. What I believe is more important, is that SA has taken a position that suggests there is some point where SA says, get out of SA...if they get to that point, it's safe to assume that all Arab allies in this conflict will no longer be our allies.
