Only 2 Big 12 teams have won national championships...Kansas and Oklahoma A&M (Later Oklahoma state) Last was Kansas in 1988.
Before Larry Brown coached at Kansas the Big 8 as it was called then hadn't done anything still Wilt lost to North Carolina in 1957.

3 Conference USA teams have, Marquette, Louisville and Cincinnati...the last was Louisville in 1986

Billy Packer should have packed it in years ago. He's terrible.

Looks like Syracuse was "zone" prepared for Oklahoma. at half 30-20.
Does Syracuse have better players than Oklahoma? No.
Do they have a better coach/preparation? So far...

Don't look know by C-USA has some high profile coaches. Just a matter of time until the conference becomes a "recent" powerhouse.
