remember, US War operations are not a budgeted item take the $300 billion defense budget now add $100B+ offbalance sheet you know? the Enron accounting methods? my guess is the war effort will cost up to 15x that then comes the (OilField) Reconstruction we call it Reconstruction, because that way we can sell to the world that we will rebuild the Iraqi Economy and Infrastructure but we wont, and will fix the OilRigs first if Congress has any money or will left, then maybe some buildings we dont know it yet, but we are planting the same seeds for a worse Iraqi Govt now at first, sure, a new US puppet but then comes the patented "CIA blowback" which delivers a more radical and more despotic govt see Iran for an example I fully expect a representative govt in Iraq to eventually become a hotbed Islamic Fundamentalist enclave Roach put out there in his latest a position that the US trade gap would reach 7% of GDP at a time when the US federal debt would reach 5% of GDP I dont know if anyone is watching or listening or even benefiting from history but these are numbers characteristic of a BANANA REPUBLIC whose currency and economy BOTH get whacked as fast as a Corleone stool pigeon we used to export technology in the last several years we have exported debt now we export delusional stupidity / jim
