Your retort is full of denials, half-truths and ignorance. Allow me to educate you. And sorry, I'm not a liberal. Moderate hybrid. Like the GOP moderates very much these days.

And yes Bush did cheat to take Florida. Absolutely. I've posted the facts a dozen times. Voter roll purges 57,700 mostly legal voters not allowed to vote, mostly Gore voters, prior to election, not the counting. This was the basis for the NAACP lawsuit again Jeb which was settled out of court in secret. Gore took it like a man and never raised the issue. But the rest of us should. Fair and legal voting is crucial to both parties and our entire country. This kind of thing can never ever happen again.

And no, Saddam was no imminent threat to America, has never attacked us, did not attack us, was not behind 9-11. So the very rationale for attacking him is half-baked. However, he is a creep, probably has WMD like every other dictator in the world and now that Bush has made it his #1 goal in life to take out Saddam, let's get on with it. I'm with the troops. Debate over until after the war. Let's just win it.

And yes Bush has completely neglected the homefront. All domestic issues have had the oxygen and funds sucked out of them for the last nine months at least. Bush is responsible become of his narrow-minded obsession with Saddam. You'll see Bush start tomorrow to do damage-control on this and do some photo ops talking about domestic issues. To give the impression he relly cares. Fact is, Bush has lost the war for us on the homefront already. 8 trillion in wealth disappeared in two years. Millions of jobs gone. Many companies bankrupt. Many more on the verge. Huge deficits and slashing of social programs people depend on. There are many economic casualities here in America partially or solely due to Bushie lack of domestic concern, funds and making Iraq THE priority. The only priority beside re-election tactics and raising money for himself.

Bush is the most partisan, divisive, narrow-minded, political president in history. He is the least concerned about the common man. Or really anyone outside his inner circle. He is the least concerned about women, children, jobs, the environment, fiscal responsibility and education. Despite his rhetoric. He promised to be a compassionate moderate. That was a gross lie. From day one he governed as a hard-hearted right-winger, and 9-11 played right into his hands so he could cloak his policies with the flag.

He has not protected us any more than any president would. Iraq War may actually make us less safe. Hopefully not, but it is a very risky gambit fraught with backlashes and prices to pay. And the lack of diplomacy leading into it was shocking and amateurish. Or deliberate.

God help us if Bush gets re-elected. We could experience another Great Depression in which only the defense industry and a few others survive the big hit. Markets could go to lows not seen in 30 years wiping out tens of millions of American families' savings.

Three primary reasons for this: Bush has made the world hate us shattering the global economy, the middleclass consumers are taking it on the chin (which the rich are rewarded) under Bush and the national debt is going into the trillions. Once rates rise and the real estate bubble pops that could be it if Bush is still in control.

Yes we will have and do have a great military, but is about all we will have if Bush gets re-elected. And America cannot possibly thrive on military might alone.
