Rumsfeld has kept Bush out of the loop? Is that what he told you? He told me that not every conversation he has with the Big Guy makes it into the press.

"This whole thread had nothing to do with me being in the loop, it had to do with President Bush being in the loop and your admiration for Rumsfeld keeping Bush out of the loop."

How on earth do you know what Rumsfeld and Bush talk about when they are in private?

I told a story about Rummy telling Myers not to answer a question, and the place I learned it was in the newspaper. Someone with a big fat mouth leaked it.

That's exactly what Rummy doesn't want. And I am glad.
