I agree, Tip.

I'm quite conservative in my beliefs, but I am anti-politics, anti-gov, anti-bureaucracy to the core. On the one hand, liberals really turn me totally off with their politically correct nonsense, affirmative action mantra and push for quotas. Utterly sickening and disgusting.

On the other hand, watching "conservative" Fox is pretty eye-opening from my conservative perspective. To think people are dumb enough to eat this stuff up the way Fox presents it is quite sad. It doesn't seem conservative, it seems ridiculous and obvious. But as ridiculous as it is, it is still better, in my view, than the Liberal networks.

Overall, there is no way to win. Neo-conservatives want me to live in a police state, but Liberals are totally disgusting to me in every way. What happened to good, old fashioned conservative philosophy?

Before Bush Jr., I didn't know what a neo-conservative was. Now, I guess I do. It's still better than the only alternative though. Very sad.

I guess I'm just a S.O.L. heterosexual, Anglo-Saxon, conservative male in a changing world.

Maybe these are discussions for another time and in a different thread.

John

Hello tippet, Fox News is owned by News Corp and is apparently playing the jingo tunes in the US.

Star TV is a News Corp arm in Asia (footprint from India, China, to Indonesia and Japan) and is quite the series, well thought out, and generally balanced reporting station.

I think News Corp just treats their news as a business, playing to the audience.

Oh come on, you are being too hard on FOX. They have Geraldo over there and when the war is over, he will open up the secret vault of Saddam. It should be a real hoot! -ggg-

My motto that has never failed me, "Never underestimate the ignorance of the American public, especially when in large groups."

What we call "news" right now, the internet bubble, SUVs, and on and on and on...

Good Luck,

Lee
