M, misinformation and suppression of the truth is an important aspect of war. During WWII - the press made no mention of the Japanese bomb laden weather balloons hitting the US because we did not want them to know that they were effective. These balloons were capable of delivering bio weapons. I can understand the view that Arnet's comments were "giving aid and comfort" to the enemy. These remarks can only encourage Iraqi resistance -the more resistance the more deaths. If it were my decision we would not have a military presence all over the globe but we are in it and the troops must come first. The truth can wait. mike
