CYD and EKC start rebounding from profit taking. It may soon be in NYSE % gainer list, IMO.

hui, my comment on CYD,EKC,SNP. All three companies are Chinese ADR's. Correct me if I am wrong, but they are mainland China companies. While all have done well recently and realize the massive growth potential of China, I have one major problem and a reason I would not invest in them. China, being a communist nation has a history of human rights violations. Because of that I would never rule out future government policies that could result in confiscation of property that would destroy any shareholder value in rapid order. Also, the financial reporting requirements are such that I find it difficult to determine intrinsic value. Also, there is no SEC oversight on those companies or much in the way of credit rating coverage. Also, since the hand-over of HongKong from British rule to China, the HK market has performed in very poor fashion. There are just so many fine companies in this country that are participating in the China revolution, that I would prefer to invest that way. Another option would be mutual funds that invest in China, but they also have this risk in them to a large degree. I suspect most others on this board feel the same. They could represent a very shrewd short play at this price point. Best wishes
