it amazes me how fickle and clue less financial market participants are about the present war and the ME in general. There was no reason for such a strong prewar rally and as things move ahead nicely on the war front they overreact in the other direction It seems no one remembers that in 1991 before the ground push there were weeks of air bombing of Iraqi troops ? what did they expect ? a spring walk into Baghdad and Saddam and his fellow criminals falling on their knees beg for mercy ? On the other hand many in Iraq face again Collin Powell in the US administration a person that deserted those that rose against Saddam and later let Saddam slaughter thousand upon thousands of innocent people who believed the US in 1991.
