Chill, for heaven's sake.
You keep seemingly insisting that, because they have no influence on Bush, they have no effect. This is like insisting that, during the Vietnam War, Hanoi was not closely watching protests here and taking heart from them. Frankly, Karen, I think your POV is naive. Don't tell me to chill; tell X et al to chill. Saddam is not hoping to retain power because of me.

What approach are they proposing to stopping the war?
That the protests and/stopping the business of the country will force Congress to rescind the war authorization and/or impeach Bush.
