Thanks. Same phrases, same approach. And from the quotes in the article, one could probably do some digging and find other members of the Administration using the same phrases and construction.....

Now do those people [in the article] actually believe what they say...did Perle really believe? Support for Saddam, including within his military organization, will collapse after the first whiff of gunpowder. or was it the politically correct thing to say?

Listen to the actual participants, not the analysts. How hard is this to understand: "It is not knowable how long that conflict (to disarm Saddam Hussein) would last.

He also said it could be days, or weeks, or months. Probably not six months...."
