>US soldiers wounded as Iraqi troops open fire from Red Crescent ambulance>

More of the palestinian solution methinks. Of all the tactics this is perhaps the worst. Makes every red crescent vehicle a potential hostile target. Damned if you do; damned if you dont. This has been the israeli dilemna all along. Now that it is american boys, what becomes our policy? Israelis have said all along that the world expects more from israel than other nations and now the double standard for us too. Can see the first reuters news person looking at the remains of an ambulance and blaming the US for the tragedy. mike

If the UN had any integrity left, which it doesn't, it would publicly condemn these tactics.

The lack of any such condemnation coming from the SC is yet further proof of its irrelevance in the 21st century.
