her resignation letter is nothing more than political grandstanding.

while i respect anyone for resigning a position if she feels that she can no longer serve a government with which she disagrees, to release the letter of resignation during war does nothing whatsoever to change the status of our policy (something she is well aware of) and merely serves to give aid and comfort to the enemy...which imo will only help to prolong the war and cost more lives.

and one more quick point.

i do not believe that previous acts of "loyalty and heroism" give a person a lifetime "pass" for engaging in what could be called seditious acts.

times change, people change, all that matters to me is what people do in the now.

i have nothing more to say about her than that, other than i hope she has a good apre' bureaucratic life in the states and away from outer mongolia <g>and will fully enjoy her generous government pension.

no, pinhead. What I disrespect is YOU. YOU are the one that keeps harping on her, as if the world was stopping for your post about her quitting..get over it.

She used her resignation letter to criticize, that is fine, then she thumped her own chest awhile, why? MEDIA ATTENTION.
