> Most of the Arab world, and increasingly Europeans as well, are convinced this war is an American-Israeli alliance to conquer the Arab heartland.

You mean that they have looked at the map and realized "domino effect" means Iran, Syria, and Saudi. And restoring Hashemite means excluding Jordan (the most Israel friendly regime with King who is half American) from the dominos? Or that comments like, "I don't see what is wrong with surrounding Israel with democracies" are now seen as we are going to replace Israel's enemies with friendly regimes? Or Wolfowitz's remark, "everyone wants to go to Baghdad, real men want to go to Tehran" have not been forgotten?

I am surprised that it took so long to add all those up.

I agree with you.

This is my assessment of the posture that is reflected in some of these statements.

I could have never believed that there will ever be a time that a Cruel brutal dictator like Saddam will become an agent for mobilizing sentiments and uniting most of the world nations against our nation America.

Against us the leader of the free world.

This war is certainly a step in leading the disarrayed Islamic world in that direction of uniting. The longer the war continues or the possibility that in desperation of ending this war, if some step is undertaken by the allied forces that causes high civilian casualties.

In that sense Bush might be credited with what all the mullahs could not accomplish for over 1400 years. The unity of muslims. Syrian, Iranian and Turkish interests have never been so commonly at stake as they are now.

Hello Jacob,
Please listen exactly to what the Bush Administration says.
They are saying what they mean with full knowledge of their words' impact.

Thye don't have a tin ear.
They have no ear to anything except
their own Rock and Roll.

THink back.
How many times can you recall reading something the Administration said and thinking "They can't mean that."
Only later do we see.
They meant exactly that.

We need to get ahead of their thinking
instead of wasting time waiting for retractions.
