LurqMan, thanks for Petro-Euro article in Faisal Islam
excellent article that takes my longstanding claimed expectation to a new level

it offers up marketplace motivations for the Arabs to shun the dollar
the market will eventual price oil in whatever major world currency is rising
plain & simple
the economics demand it, since the time lag between intake of raw commodity and output of refined product is more than a few weeks
Russia is awash in petrodollars but has considerable commerce in Europe, not the USA !!!
Russia and Arab nations might soon combine political forces to launch a pricing of oil in euros
this might be the centerpiece of Arab Islamic backlash

the entire world petroleum industry has gearing within it that handles and assumes dollar stability
we no longer have stability
just one more log on the Dollar Bonfire

European oil companies and intermediate oil firms are being hurt now with the declining dollar

this is a factor I had not considered in my USDollar Decline Vicious Circle
it is an awesome market force that will blindside the buck

thanks again, and keep them coming
you are a great world economy newshound
