Guess it still makes sense to hold both XTRN
and TRIB then. Together, I think a profit is
much more likely than holding either alone. That's what
I'm doing.

Ontario's 215 hospitals have been ordered to suspend regular service and limit access as health officials try to contain the spread of SARS, the mysterious pneumonia-like illness that has killed four Canadians.

The restrictions, which were already in place at hospitals in the Toronto area, mean an indefinite cancellation all non-urgent surgery and outpatient clinics. Parents of sick children and those related to critically ill patients will be the only non-workers allowed to visit the province's hospitals.

"It's easier to take precautions than to deal with the fallout of having cases," said James Young, the province's commissioner of public safety. Young said he expects cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome to show up in other areas of Ontario.

The province is opening a clinic dedicated specifically to SARS assessment in the Toronto suburb of Markham Tuesday, where people who believe they have contracted or been exposed to SARS will be screened. In B.C., the Vancouver Coastal Authority is working on similar plans for a separate clinic in order to divert potential cases away from hospital emergency rooms.
