Scott Ritter had some comments on Democracy Now about Arnett that I thought were appropriate -- he felt Arnett crossed the line as journalist and became commentator. He also griped that it wasn't fair that Arnett was fired in isolation because of the numerous "cheerleader" journalists doing the same. The other thing in his interview which I found interesting because I hadn't heard it anywhere else is that the US has already sent special ops into 10 sites that were deemed urgent by intelligence (for WMD) and all have turned up negative. He also said he doesn't believe SH has WMD -- if that turns out to be true, it will surprise me, and will show that SH's bluff of having them (via intelligence feeds) will have backfired on him.
