when the Iraqis' van would not stop as ordered Do you know that 4 Amereican soldiers were killed at checkpoint by a suicide bomber last week? Do you know that US soldiers now have orders to shoot anyone who refuses to stop at a checkpoint? So is it your proposal that the US soldiers allow themselves to be killed?

Two days ago the rules of engagement in this war were redefined to our troops at checkpoints. These 18-22 year old soldiers are scared to death. Who are we to think we would act differently? These unfortunates, these ladies, did not play by the rules that THEIR OWN PEOPLE defined. When soldiers or police tell you to stop...you stop. It appears they did try non-lethal methods to stop the vehicle before they fired upon the van. Tragic, but predictable. Anyone enjoying this occurence, in any sort of twisted way, is sick.
