Outside of Turkey, Iran and Malaysia, why isn't there a problem inherent with Islam ? These three seem t obe the only modern successful Islamic countries.

Note that Turkey has a strong and rigidly enforced secular tradition.

Persia / Iran was highly civilized long before Islam showed up.

Malaysia has a much looser interpetation of Islam, and heavy Sinic / Confution influences.

Prehaps there is a problem with Arabs & Islam. Interseting how many Arab commentators tie them together.

No inherent problem with Islam seems a bit too PC.

Well IMO democracy IS better, but you seem to be telling me we should use force to create democracies where ever there are none. I think we should use other means to move in theat direction. JMO
