BBC showed Arnett's response. maybe i'm reading more into than warrants, to these ears it sure sounded like a loaded subtext beneath his words. interesting to wonder if vietnam caused the bear or the bear turned vietnam into more than it should have been.

noting that NBC was overwhelmed with a flood negative mail from Pro-War(conservative) watch groups and how liberal watch groups are getting stronger and the country is getting more polarized, and leaving the question hanging, who are the patriots? Did he (Tom Brokaw) actually say that liberal watch groups are getting stronger? I did not know there were many vocal liberals now (except for you Max<g>). It is about time. These conservative big mouths had been feared by many organizations/companies/media. I had noticed that CNN seemed to have hired a bunch of conservative, right wing anchors...and this was the news organization that was thought to have a liberal bias. CNN is basically a pro-Bush propoganda machine and has finally started trying to be objective.
