Win - When in doubt, make things up, eh, Mike?

Mike did not claim that the story was false, only that it might have been deliberate on the part of some of the Iraqis. Given Sadam Hussein's history this doesn't seem improbable. His whole strategy is to make us look evil and this isn't at all hard to do if life is cheap and you have a few fanatics at your disposal. If I had a few fanatics willing to die at my disposal I could make you look like a murderer without much effort.

Hi Win Smith; Re: "The soldiers then fired shots into the engine of the vehicle, ``but the vehicle kept moving toward the checkpoint,'' the Army said."

Most women never bother with details like oil pressure or coolant temperature, so why should they take notice when soldiers shoot up their engine?
