Good response from the Dixie Chick. Bushies dish it out but cant take it. Never in history has a political party so disrespected a presdient as the GOP did against Clinton, and all the while Clinton was delivering record prosperity and peace. Shame on them. The Dixie Chick is okay in my book. Might buy their album.

As far back as I can remember, I heard people
say they were ashamed of President Clinton.

That is because Clinton, AS PRESIDENT, gave a kid the "Havana Treatment" in a closet at the White House, was a credibly accused sexual harraser and a certified liar to several American courts. The guy was shameful, no doubt about it. As president, Bush has been nothing at all like this.

I heard people on the radio and TV like Rush Limbaugh, Pat Robertson, Newt Gingrich and Trent Lott bad mouthing the President and ridiculing his wife and daughter at every opportunity.

Well Clinton was deserving of being badmouthed. So was Hillary Wynette. And you just gotta admit that Chelsea was the spitting image of a dang Cocker Spaniel.

I heard LOTS of people disrespecting the President.

That was because Clinton was disrespectful and there was just no doubt at all about it. I mean the dang guy brought a friggin' freak show to Washington.
