A question.

So often we hear in the media that the Iraqi people don't seem like they're behaving in such manner they wish to be liberated, this fact perhaps being the greater shock and awe than Rumsfeld's intended shock and awe.

How come I've yet to hear a U.S. television reporter or commentator ask or point out the following:

Could the reason why there are so few happy Iraqis wanting candy and giving flowers be because those Iraqis are just like all of the other Arabs, in all of the other Arab nations, who've been loudly protesting in the streets and whose government leaders have been complaining about an American presence in the Middle East, that it'll be the Americans deciding the fate of Arab oil.
