The over-arching theme for the 2004 election is already shaping up. Every candidate for federal office will have to deal with the question:

"WHOSE SIDE WERE YOU ON DURING THE LIBERATION OF IRAQ?"

The question looms, like a hungry predator, over the Democratic party. The only ones not in mortal danger will be Charley Rangel and the Congressional Black Caucus, whose problems are more fundamental. They do not preside over the black community. They preside over Democrat-created ghettos of illiterate low-income-or, more precisely, negative income-dead end blacks. The best and brightest of the black community LEAVE these districts as soon as possible, and become members of the slowly-emerging black middle class. That middle class is distinguishable by the fact that they have figured out that the Democrat party has defrauded blacks, and keeps them down in the same way that planters in the Confederacy kept them "down" on plantations before the Civil War. The result is enclaves of anti-American mobs, ready to hear people like Charley Rangel tell them that Americans are targeting women and children in Iraq.

The rest of the Democratic party will have to dance around patriotism, as they did in 2002, with increasingly unsuccessful results. It doesn't look good for the Treason Lobby in 2004...
