How could people not realize this? If Russia went out to invade someone on the pretext of "liberating" them, because of a UN resolution, I think the US might be fairly annoyed. I wonder how anyone can think that the US has authority to enforce a UN resolution, without the UN agreeing. That thought is just so ODD. We are not the UN- even if we wish we are. Makes that Onion piece on the UN look TRUE. We DO think US will and the UN will should be the same thing. As a country we obviously need some lessons in playing nice with others.
