Kerry is not in "lockstep" with Kennedy, that's ridiculous. Kennedy and Kerry have very different stances on this war, health care, gun ownership, to name a few. They agree on other things but Kerry is and will run from the new middle, not the old liberal positions. He's outgrown those and is thinking ahead, far ahead. Which is what we need. More important, Kerry is not a drinker or a womanizer like Kennedy. He's way above Kennedy in terms of personal character.
