Zonder, could I interject on this chart thing? My point of view is that it's not the actual "value" which dictates price activity but the perception of value.
The perception of value is deduced from charts within the context of supply/demand dynamics. In that sense, the US stock markets currently have a preponderant proclivity toward lower valuations.
