I am not going to write a book here, Hawk. Saddam and Bin Ladin are unrelated. You know it and I know it and so does everyone else.

I don't think that's what I asked you Zonder.. I asked you to explain your belief that the American requirement to contain Saddam by stationing US troops on Saudi and Kuwaiti soil played no role in the rise of Al Qaeda and Bin Laden...

Saddam doesn't have to be linked to Al Qaeda. It's ALREADY well established that he sponsor terrorism through OTHER GROUPS.. That these groups have sought sanctuary in Iraq and received support from his Baathist regime. So quit evading the point.. Saddam and his Baathist party run a terrorist regime, as active in terrorizing their own people as they are in intimidating and terrorizing their neighbors and the US.

As for your statistical obsession, I'm really not interested.. There are lies, god-damn lies, and then statistics... What is pretty much assured however, is that given the opportunity to dominate his neighbors or weaken US influence in the region, he will use whatever means he thinks he can get away with, including terrorism and false flag operations.

Not please take some time to write a paragraph or two about how Saddam's activities in the Gulf, and American efforts to deter him, have not directly led to the rise of Bin Laden.

Hawk

And btw Zonder, neither one of us knows anything for sure about that relationship between Saddam and Bin Laden. There is CERTAINLY a mutual enemy they both share, no matter what their philisophical differences, namely the US.

So I would like to see your evidence that excludes Bin Laden from being linked to Saddam?? Because I'm pretty sure that neither of us has suffcient "connections" to make an confirmed statement in either direction.

I just have more logic, and circumstantial evidence, on my side...
