Hi Greg, "I am a male "Baby Boomer"

That's a good thing. You were the folks that created a lot of change in this country. A lot of truly admirable things. How can we even come close to doing what your generation did?

But I think you incorrectly assumed there's something wrong with being a male Baby Boomer...

It doesn't matter if you're in Group A or Group B.

(To repeat) what does matter, is,

- Do you think Group A should make up rules for Group B in a vacuum of input from Group B?

I hear too many companies do this.

RE: "you sound like a victim looking for someone to blame when you take such a stance."

I like to articulate diversity. When articulating diversity, the unjust does come out. I think society has to get comfortable with that, rather than hide it. We'll all be better for it. And you know what, every person - men, women, old, young, white, black, Asian, Indian, Jewish, European, Arabic, Mexican, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, large, small, cold, warm, etc. have some unjust thing happening to them, tiny or large, if another group isn't educated on their differences. Better to speak up. Education helps awareness.

RE: "Amy, I respect your views and insights generally. I am very disappointed in this particular comment."

I appreciate your insights and views too.

Please give my post another read and please visually bold, "in a vacuum" and "do this", when you read it so you hear the emphasis. I think you may have keyed the wrong interpretation. No group should do something over another in a vacuum. Best way to fix it, is to articulate it.

Regards,
Amy J
