I do indeed give my comments in view of the lives of our troops. I do not maintain that protests are un-American. They certainly are not. But these particular protests are by definition anti-American in that our nation now officially engages Iraq in hostile conflict and the protestor condemn the country, attempting to split our front.

Because protests are not un-American, the anti-Americans have a right to be what they are. No one is obligated to respect them, however. In fact, pro-Americans will condemn them.
