Recheck my post. I believe I said not as much as should be to protect Americans. You think those ambushes would have occurred if we had taken out the bad guys as we passed those towns? We BYPASSED them so as to NOT have to subject Civilians to fighting in their midst. That was a mistake. Anyone who has been following my posts knows I said so some time ago. Now we are going back and neutralizing the towns we initially bypassed. As usual LEAVE IT TO THE MARINES, they are the ones doing this right now. jdn
