I know two 9/11 victims (or their families)that lost family members to the terrorist attacks. But I know MANY that have been victims of violent crime in this country by fellow Americans. This is something I have a much greater fear off than terrorism. (Actually, I don't even rank terrorism as a concern.. perhaps that's a byproduct of living in the midwest, and not NY or L.A.) But I know damn well the chances exist of getting gunned down by a thug, mugged by a goon, hit by a drunk, etc..

btw, of the two families above, one is for the war (they have a daughter in the Nat'l Guard) and the others are vehemently opposed).
