They should have, pre 911, listened to a few of the on the ball FBI agents that tried to pre-warn of some sort of air assault.
Same old story, all the intel gathering in the world, and no one is listening at the command center.

What should have been done?
Beats me, we are in far too deep now..

I think they should have put more into tracking down and punishing those that did the 911 act...

Trouble is, that would require an investigation, and the White House is resisting that for whatever the reason.

Wonder why?
