<iIn a statement, Sarandon said that "it is disturbing to me that the United Way is letting partisanship determine its support base." I am surprised they canceled. The United Way is the same outfit that refused to further contribute to the Boy Scouts in Ann Arbor, Michigan when Ann Arbor's ultra liberal city council threatened to stop withholding contributions from city employees if the United Way continued their support. all because the Boy Scouts refused to allow homosexuals to act as troop leaders. I understand this is not the only entity that has blackmailed the United Way to remove support for the Scouts. Shame. Ken
