Fact is the war preempted what the UN was doing: inspections. The position of the UN is that the inspections are still in process under the auspices of 1441, but have only been suspended due to safety concerns. The UN is not a one or two nation operation, this being the truly startling fact of reality!

All the people jumping up and down about "failure to disarm" look like raving lunatics so far.
Regime change appears to be a goal here. As an excuse for the invasion, that would make it illegal too.
The US acting without UN approval...acting AGAINST the UN as a matter of fact...makes it illegal.
Why the big fit over trying to make the invasion legal?
Looks like the olde "methinks you protest too much".
