Thanks for posting that article. I was called a wacko by Hermiz and Smith for just mentioning it.

Brumar,
When you run kamikaze missions at our forces as opposed to civilians, most folks feel it goes with the territory. If you can create the illusion that foreign forces are slaughtering your population you get great propaganda. I think my first instinct was correct although Fox reports dont always hold up either.
Seeing the information minister rant last night and watching the iraqi forces being destroyed tank by tank, i can now see a scenario where the war may end soon. At some point those iraqi grunts will realize saddam is dead and their lives are being sacrificed in a futile attempt to change public opinion in the US and/or have France come riding in on a white horse to save the day. Neither will happen and their(the iraqi military) situation is as hopeless as it gets. Choice now is to use chem weapons or lose the uniforms and vanish. Mike

PS the person on this thread who said the war would end on the fourth may turn out to be the thread genius. Hope so anyway.

Oddly, I looked on www.foxnews.com , since they were the alleged source of the story; no trace there. Perhaps it was too fairandbalanced for them to handle. Why an alleged Iraqi Muslim Cleric is supposed to be a reliable source anyway is another issue, but we'll let that one pass.

Worldnetdaily was the only source google turned up under the named cleric's name. WorldNetDaily looks like an extremely reputable source, somewhere between Debka and Weekly World News. Their current front page:

Hello Brumar89,

As I've mentioned before, WorldNetDaily is not welcome here. I think that, far too often, they are making it up as they go along. They remind me (a lot) of Debka in that regard -- sensational, but not quite reality...
