What if the invaders win:

1) Saddam must have his plans to take his family out of the country and his top officers also would run away leaving behind only the lower ranking.

2) Some 400.000 prisioners of war. Fedayeen Saddam disperse among the populace in civilan clothes.

3) By sea, air and land arrive supplies to keep population fed and works begin in earnest to spend the money of the Iraqis in UK and US goods. Payment in kind as the oil starts flowing.

Easy part ends.

Then the real trouble will start.

a) Big fight erupts within the Bush adminsitration for the spoils of war

a1) Doing business in Iraq will be extremely costly.

b) Sabotage.

c) Terrorist attacks.

d) Revolt of nomadic people whom the US doesn't know how to put into the equation.

e) The opposition to Saddam either shafted or left out will raise against the invaders -now conquerors- and start a revolution.
