11 "recovered" bodies most likely casualties during the rescue operation. The troops needed a morale boost. The folks at home needed reassurance. They choose the best case a young female soldier held prisioner. So carefully chosen, that her home town is Palestine, West Virginia. They really tried to get the most publciity effect for the operation. They went for it, got 11 killed, possibly, a few wounded too. Then said they recovered 11 bodies, which fits on the morale boost thing: Message to the public: we don't leave anyone behind. Do you think we're going to get Rambo 4 and 5? Nah, Stallone is too old for that shit!
